What you should bring As well as your normal clothing you should bring warm, waterproof extras because the weather on Skye can turn quickly from warm and sunny to cold, wet and windy. It is known as the Misty Isle - Eilean a'Cheo.

There are some books and games provided, but bring these as well as your favourite CDs, tapes and videotapes (PAL only) or DVDs. Mobile phones work in this area too.

Bring basic food requirements with you as many shops will be closed on Sundays.

All linen and towels will be provided and will be changed each Saturday or between shorter lets. Cleaning will be carried out between lets and each Saturday during longer lets.
